Transferring files FTP using Internet Explorer
 

Note: this works only for Internet Explorer for Windows.
If you are using a Macintosh, you'll need to get FTP software.

1.  Open Internet Explorer.  In the IE address window, type ftp://ftp.graphicsland.com


 
2. Using the Login As dialog screen, enter the login/password as:

User Name: graphicsland    Password: graphicsland

Click on the Login button and wait until connected to the sever.

The Graphicsland FTP should appear empty, Graphicsland uses a blind FTP for security reasons, so you won't see files that others may have uploaded.

 
3. If you received an error stating that you may need to verify your browser settings, or Page Can Not Be displayed, you may need to change your browser settings.
  • From the IE tool bar, select Tools>Internet Options


 

  • Select the Advanced tab.
  • Under Browsing, place a checkmark next to Use Web Based FTP or Enable Folder View for FTP sites. Click OK to confirm settings. Repeat the previous steps.
     

4. After you've signed on, navigate to the folder on your hard drive that contains the file(s) to be sent to us. Adjust the size of this window and move it to the left-hand side of the screen. This way, both windows, local and remote, will be visible at the same time. To Move files between the two, simply click and drag the file/folder that is to be transferred. 

Once you're file has been successfully uploaded, it will appear in the the Graphicsland FTP window. When finished, please contact us via email at orders@graphicsland.com or give us a call at 1-800-347-2477 and let us know you've sent files to our FTP.
